PSG are considering the possibility of signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer
According to today’s edition of L’Equipe (h/t Sport Witness), Paul Pogba could be prised away from Manchester United for ‘less than €100million‘.
Paris Saint Germain, who have been keen on signing the French star for several weeks now, have opened up to the possibility of rekindling their interest in the 28-year-old and making a move before the end of the month.
The French outfit are facing the prospect of losing Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid, and if a deal does go through this week, they will have three possibilities in front of them, according to L’Equipe (h/t Sport Witness).
The first possibility would be to sign another striker, while the remaining two possibilities would be either signing Paul Pogba or Rennes’ Eduardo Camavinga, with the latter also being targeted by the Old Trafford outfit.
Pogba has had an uncertain future at the club could have been on his way to the French capital earlier this summer itself, but a disagreement between the two clubs in terms of valuation proved to be an obstacle. Within that time, PSG prioritized the signing of Barcelona maestro Lionel Messi and eyed a deal for the United star on a free transfer next summer.
Given that the 28-year-old is in the final year of his contract at the club and has refused a contract extension previously, a free transfer would be possible next year.

However, if Mbappe does leave, PSG will then have the necessary funds to procure a deal for the French midfielder, who is said to be available for less than €100million, as per L’Equipe (h/t Sport Witness).
Thus, there is a pool of uncertainty surrounding the future of Pogba at United, and given that he has started the season off incredibly well, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be hoping to keep his star midfielder at the club for as long as possible.
