Transfer News: Swansea want Manchester United starlet James Garner on loan
According to transfer news from Planetswans, Manchester United starlet James Garner is on the radar of Swansea. United want to loan out Garner to the right club and prefer a Premier League side. Another name Swansea want is Morgan Gibbs-White.
The 20-year-old was loaned to Watford last summer. He had a brilliant start to life in the Championship as he played in all but one of their opening 19 league games. However, a managerial change meant that Garner found it hard to get minutes at Vicarage Road.
Hence, the loan deal was terminated midway through the season. Garner then went to two-time European Cup winners Nottingham Forest on loan for the remainder of the season. Currently, he is back from his loan spell as his future is being evaluated.
Garner is expected to feature in a few of the preseason games for Manchester United. The club want to loan out the talented midfielder but are waiting for the right club. Swansea have registered their interest in Garner and want him on loan, much like last season.

While United would ideally want a Premier League side to take Garner on loan, sending him to Swansea might not be a bad idea. He is likely to get more game time in the Championship which will prepare him well for the future.
