According to transfer news for 90min, Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has emerged as a surprise target for Atletico Madrid. United are said to be asking for £25m which has put off West Ham’s interest in a permanent deal.
After falling down the pecking order at Man United, Lingard and United felt that it was best if there was a change of scenery. He moved across to London on loan to West Ham. Quite what transpired over the next five months was hardly someone could have predicted.

Atleti manager Diego Simeone is said to be a big fan of the player and his hard-working attributes.
