Transfer News: Facundo Pellistri wants another loan to Deportivo Alaves

According to transfer news from SportWitness, Manchester United starlet Facundo Pellistri wants a return to Deportivo Alaves on loan. United are keen to loan out the Uruguayan youngster again and he has made it known that he would like to return to the La Liga side.

The winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Deportivo Alaves. He was signed by the club last summer but after the arrival of Amad Diallo in January, he was sent on loan to the La Liga side. It was decided that Pellistri would benefit from some first-team football after mostly playing for the U-23s during the initial months.

The South American made 12 appearances for Alaves as they narrowly avoided relegation. While he did not manage to get a goal or assist, his overall performance was satisfactory. Currently, Pelliistri is back at United for preseason.

Alaves have shown some keenness to bring back the 19-year-old back on loan. It seems as if the feeling is mutual with Pellistri. The player has made it known to United that he would like to move back to Alaves on loan for another loan spell. United are still evaluating his future at this point.

Pellistri is very unlikely to get a crack at regular football if he stays at United next season. United recently signed Jadon Sancho and the attack is pretty much set. Heading back to Alaves might be the best decision as Pellistri will be in familiar surroundings and might get more game time.
