Barcelona have earmarked £109m for Erling Haaland, who is also a Manchester United target.

Manchester United have their striker requirements but that was addressed to an extent when Edinson Cavani signed a new deal. Nevertheless, Erling Haaland has been linked with Manchester United.

Barcelona’s decision does come as a blow to the Red Devils. Haaland is the next big thing in football and has been prolific despite his young age of 20. Rated at £150m, Haaland is a highly sought-after player.

Solskjaer has other headaches to solve and any move for Erling Haaland can now be put on hold.
