The youngster has shown that he is capable of going up against the best. He put in a stellar performance against Argentine giants Boca Juniors and kept former United star Carlos Tevez quiet on the night.

The defender does appear to be destined for great things. If he continues to develop as expected, it will be a matter of when and not if he will move to Europe.

Kayky’s regular appearances in the Copa Libertadores is a blessing for United. This is because thanks to recent changes in the Premier League’s requirements for work permits, we will have no issues signing him in the future.

While it is debatable if the youngster can hit the ground from the get-go, he is well worth a look at. He could very well turn into something special given enough time and guidance.
