Bruno Fernandes urges Manchester United to complete these two signings
According to Express, Manchester United talisman Bruno Fernandes has urged the club to make two signings. The Portuguese maverick wants to see a new central defender and defensive midfielder that will aid the club further.
In a year’s time, Bruno Fernandes has emerged as one of Manchester United’s leaders on and off the pitch. The midfielder is a fierce competitor and hates losing. He gives it his all on the pitch and does not shy away from speaking his mind.
Fernandes might not be the captain of the side but he is the one orchestrating the attack when the team plays. Without him, it is a painful experience to watch United as they lack imagination and ideas.
While United have made good progress with Fernandes, there are still areas of the squad that need investment.
The former Sporting man wants the club to back Solskjaer in the transfer market by signing a centre-back and a defensive midfielder. A partner for Harry Maguire would shore up the defence that often looks a bit puzzled.
A proper defensive midfielder would allow someone like Fernandes to fully commit in attack without any defensive responsibilities.
