United’s games at home against Leicester City and Fulham too have been affected by the rearrangement of the Liverpool clash. With the Foxes set to contest the FA Cup final against Chelsea, the match against us has been put back by 24 hours to Tuesday, 11th May.

Both teams are involved in the race for second place and a win for us will all but guarantee the runners-up spot. Meanwhile, we will face Fulham in our last home game of the season on 18th May.

Whether the government will give the green light for fans to be present on that night remains to be seen.

United fans stormed the pitch last Sunday

United fans have come out in large numbers to protest against the Glazers’ ownership of the club. Despite the events that took place last Sunday, they are in no mood to back off.

The match against Liverpool also gives Ole Gunnar Solskjaer an opportunity to get his first win over Jurgen Klopp in the Premier League.
