Images and reactions as Manchester United fans intensify anti Glazers protest
Manchester United fans gathered in force outside Old Trafford to protest against the Glazers’ ownership of the club.
According to Sky Sports, the fans numbered in their thousands in what was a collective show of defiance. Flares, banner and scarves were all made use of and if anyone had any doubt as to where the Red Devils faithfuls’ allegiance lies, they will not have to anymore.
Ahead of the protest scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, supporters’ groups had urged fans via their social media accounts to wear masks and follow public health protocols.
Further protests have also been planned ahead of our upcoming game against Liverpool at the Theatre of Dreams.
