Transfer News: Manchester United suffer blow in Lucas Vazquez pursuit
According to transfer news from Mirror, Manchester United have encountered a hurdle in their attempts to sign Lucas Vazquez. AC Milan are said to have entered into talks with the Real Madrid man and that could, in turn, be a problem for Manchester United.
The 29-year-old has spent his career at Real Madrid, barring a single season on loan at Espanyol. A three-time Champions League winner, he was a part of the Los Blancos side that dominated the competition in the recent past.
A winger, manager Zinedine Zidane has largely used the player as a wing-back this season. This prompted United to earmark the Spaniard as a potential backup to Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back, a position United lack depth in.
Now it has been said that Milan are in talks to sign the Spaniard. The Italian side currently have Diogo Dalot and Kalulu at the club as right-backs. However, Dalot is only on loan and could return to the club. Hence, it makes sense for AC Milan to be going after the Real Madrid utility man.

United do not have a clear run at signing Vazquez and are currently behind AC Milan. Whether we can come up with an offer that can blow our competitors out of the water remains to be seen.
