On the night that three Manchester United academy stars found the net, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side staged a brilliant come from behind win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Seagulls caused us many problems in the reverse fixture and did the same in the first half at Old Trafford. Former United star Danny Welbeck gave Brighton the lead when he scored off the rebound after initially forcing Dean Henderson to make a brilliant save.

Graham Potter’s side were the better team in the first half and went into the break with their tails up.

What they did not fathom was a United side that meant business in the second half. The Red Devils were easily the better team and laid siege on the Brighton goal.

Marcus Rashford scored deftly at the far post to draw United level before Mason Greenwood’s predatory instincts saw him head the winner late on.

It may not have been a vintage performance but the players dug deep and ensured our hold on second spot stays strong. United are currently four points clear of the third spot and have some breathing space as the season draws to an end.

We take a look at how some fans reacted to the win on Twitter.
