Manchester United fans react as Paul Pogba creates news on his return to Italy
There was plenty of good news to go by as Paul Pogba returned to put Manchester United into the Europa League quarter-finals.
The Red Devils had no option but to score going into the crunch clash at the San Siro. While the performance as a whole was not the greatest, what matters is that we got the job done.
With the match goalless at half-time, the decision was made to bring the Frenchman on. Making his first appearance in over a month, Pogba continues to show just what he is capable of while at his best.
Whether it was the away jersey or not, his performance was reminiscent of his best at Juventus.
Former United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic almost got MIlan back on level terms but was thwarted by Dean Henderson. The Red Devils held on despite intense late pressure and now have a real shot at European glory.
We take a look at how fans reacted to the amazing away day performance on Twitter.
