Manchester United fans react as Amad Diallo makes his first-team debut
It was a night to remember in Turin for Manchester United and Amad Diallo in the Europa League.
The Red Devils saw off a couple of early scares to stamp their authority on the game. They ran Real Sociedad ragged and came away 4-0 winners on the night. It would be fair to assume that the tie is as good as done.
While Bruno Fernandes & co. took the accolades for the goals, Amad Diallo wrote what could be a small yet significant note in United history.
Having joined the club only last month, there was a lot of hype surrounding the Ivorian wonderkid. He had impressed in the Under-23s and it was only a matter of time before he made his first-team bow.
That moment came late in the second half with the game done and dusted. The 18-year-old looked up to the challenge and showed glimpses of promise. He completed 3/3 dribbles in just 12 minutes, more than any other player on the pitch.
There is still some way to go before Diallo begins to start games on a regular basis. But for now, he has had his first taste of action and surely be eager for more.
We take a look at how fans reacted to the moment on Twitter.

I would get him on sooner instead of Martial. It was a game he could build a lot of confidences to fit in.
Hope to see more from Amad soon.
Even Though He Didn’t Get Much Time On The Pitch and On The Ball.

His Movement Off The Ball Was Superb In Helping Telles Down The Left Hand Side.
He’s Got A Bright Future and I See Positive Signs In The Few Minutes He Had.
