Manchester United fans react as Jose Mourinho loses consecutive home games for the first time in his career
The final days of Jose Mourinho in charge of Manchester United were akin to that of Rome under Caligula.
A deep sense of unease permeated the squad on and off the field. This coupled with the extremely negative brand of football lost him quite a few supporters.
It would appear that Mourinho has not learnt much from his old Trafford ordeal as he continues to deploy the same tactics at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Portuguese manager suffered consecutive home losses for the first time in his career. While it is impressive to know that he has kept the record going this long, it is also a testament to his dwindling influence in the modern game.
While there is no argument regarding Mourinho’s standing in the game, he has failed to keep up with the times. His teams continue to play the same brand of negative football that we have now come to associate him with.
A messiah when all goes well, he takes on the moniker of the pariah otherwise. As things stand, we are glad he is not in charge of United anymore.
As it was seen on Twitter, we weren’t alone in sharing that sentiment.
Untied fans react as Mourinho experiences new low at Tottenham
Why – in the name of all that is good – would you watch Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United and José Mourinho’s Spurs but decide you want the special one back at our club?

Absolutely mind blogging. #MUFC
Funny thing is this guy constantly goes at Ole in fans for making excuses for Ole, yet he doesn’t attribute any blame to his messiah for Tottenham’s current downfall.

I thank god with all my heart that Jose Mourinho is not managing Manchester United. Spurs at home getting dominated left right center by Chelsea. If I was a Spurs fan I’d be fucking fuming. #THFC #TOTCHE

Jose Mourinho should consider going back to being a pundit. Indisputably one of the best managers ever in the @premierleague, the era in lead up to the second exit from @ChelseaFC, stint at @ManUtd and run at @SpursOfficial point to he no longer being his old “special” self

If ever you find yourself being disillusioned or apathetic, remind yourself Jose Mourinho doesn’t manage Manchester United and let that goofy smile take over.
