Manchester United well represented in the Premier League monthly awards for December
According to the club’s official site, Manchester United have received four nominations for the Premier League awards for the month of December.
The Red Devils won five games and drew two more in the Premier League in December. This excellent run of results saw us go joint top with Liverpool with a game in hand.
Given the upsurge in form and performances, it is to be expected that a number of United affiliates are in with a shot for taking home the monthly gongs.
Bruno Fernandes is often in the thick of what Untied do right. He is once again in contention for the Premier League Player of the Month award for December.
The midfielder has sensationally won the award thrice already with the last win coming for November. Having racked up three goals and four assists during December, he is in with a good shout to win his fourth crown.
Keeping it in the house!
He will, however, have to compete against teammate Marcus Rashford. The Englishman is also a former winner of the award having claimed it once before for January 2019.
While Paul Pogba has stepped up his game in recent weeks, it was still not enough for him to gain a nomination in the player of the month category. He does, however, feature amongst those voted for the Premier League Goal of the Month award.
