Manchester United fans react as club wins first Premier League home game of the season
Manchester United had to wait for the fifth time of calling to win their first game at Old Trafford in the Premier League this season.
That being said, the performance against a struggling West Bromwich Albion left much to be desired.
Bruno Fernandes was once again at hand, on the second time of asking to put the Red Devils ahead from the penalty spot. United eventually held on and secured a much-needed victory.
Despite not winning a game so far this season, the Baggies gave a real account of themselves last night. They went close on multiple occasions and even hit the crossbar in the second half.
West Brom also won a penalty only for referee David Coote to overturn it after a review. We looked to have gotten away with one there.
United cannot afford to keep playing the same way. Luck will will not favour us everytime and we need to step up our game.
But for now, the Old Trafford hoodoo is broken and it is hopefully the first of many more wins to come at the Theatre of Dreams.

• Struggle to create chances
• Score no goals at home before half time
• Have luck at the back (Dave saves or have a shot against the post)
• Score from a lucky penalty
• Win in the least convincing way possible
A true Manchester United game yet again
