Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already knows his next three Manchester United transfer targets
According to Jack Otway of The Express, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already knows his next three transfer targets at the club.
The Norwegian, to his credit, has managed a turnaround of fortunes following our defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. This also included back to back wins against both PSG and RB Leipzig.
Despite that, the club is still in need of reinforcements. Solskjaer is aware of it and is looking forward to the future.
According to the report, United’s three transfer targets are some of the best young talents in world football.
This includes Borussia Dortmund duo Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho. Leipzig ace Dayot Upamecano is also on the club’s radar.
Despite missing out on Sancho in the summer, United still retain an interest in the player. The prospect of deploying him alongside the likes of Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford is a tantalising prospect.
Haaland was also linked to United in January. The Norway international, however, snubbed a move to Old Trafford.
The youngster has all the hallmarks to become an elite level striker. He would be an excellent upgrade over the impressive Anthony Martial.
Upamecano meanwhile may have fallen flat on his Old Trafford audition midweek. However, his quality is undoubted and is another potentially world-class player.
According to The Times, United could look to activate the player’s release clause next summer. Doing so could see us land the defensive lynchpin we need for the new decade.

Signing all three players is unlikely to be cheap. However, all three would elevate our team to another level.
It is moot to argue that they would not be a massive upgrade on what we already have. Whether any of them will indeed join the Red revolution remains to be seen.
