Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reveals Manchester United team news for Arsenal clash

Speaking to ManUtd.com (h/t Football.london), Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that five players will miss the clash against Arsenal.

The clash against the Gunners will be the stand out clash of the weekend. The Red Devils will be keen to replicate the performance they showcased in the 5-0 win over RB Leipzig.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are coming on the back of two consecutive losses to Manchester City and Leicester City.

Eric Bailly

We will however have to face Mikel Arteta’s side without five players. One of the biggest names ruled out is Eric Bailly, who is around a month away with a muscle injury.

Another key player who is out is new signing Alex Telles. The Brazilian has tested positive for coronavirus and could return to action in the near future.

Two nonessential players who will also miss out are Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard. While the former has not been included in our Premier League squad, the latter is not a key player.

A major miss will be that of French ace Anthony Martial. Rather than an injury, the striker is set to see our the last of his three-match suspension following the red against Tottenham Hotspur.

United have coped well in his absence and have recovered well since that loss to Spurs. We could take yet another step in the right direction if we beat Arsenal tomorrow.
