Raul Jimenez opens door for Wolves exit amid Manchester United interest
As reported by Wales Online, Wolverhampton Wanderers star Raul Jimenez has admitted he is “open to everything” amid speculations of a summer move to Manchester United.
Jimenez has been with Wolves since 2018, having first joined on loan from SL Benfica, before making the transfer permanent last summer. He has been in prolific form since joining the club, playing a key role in their success.
The Mexican international plundered 27 goals last term, while setting up 10 more in all competitions. He has already scored two in two league games in 2020/21.
Jimenez’s exploits have seen him get linked with a switch to Manchester United previously. And the 29-year-old has now claimed that while he’s happy at Wolves, he’d be open to a summer transfer. (h/t Wales Online)
“If I stay here at Wolves, I’d be very happy. We know that anything can happen and there could be a change. I’m open to everything.”
With this statement, Jimenez has left the doors open for a potential switch to Manchester United.

Manchester United are in the market to bolster the attack, although the priority has been to strengthen the right-wing.
However, bringing in another centre-forward of Jimenez’s quality wouldn’t be the worst idea, as it would add more goals, while also pushing Anthony Martial to up his game.
But it remains to be seen if Wolves would be open to losing a player as important as Jimenez. Especially considering that he still has three years left on his current contract with the club.
