United are keen to bring ina left abck this summer. While Luke Shaw is a decent player, he has failed to hit the heights expected of him. More so his injuryiesalso remain a concern.

While Brandon Williams has been a decent deputy to Shaw, the youngster has looked out of his depth when up against quality opposition.

In Telles, they will be getting a dynamic player who is a threat all along the left-flank. With his contract set to expire next summer, Porto are keen to sell him this window rather than lose him for free a year down the line. (h/t Daily Star)

It has so far been an underwhelming summer that has seen us only sign Donny van de Beek so far. While bringing in Telles does not necessarily solve all our issues at the back, it will be one less thing to worry about.
