Manchester United agree deal to sign Filip Stevanovic
According to Serbian publication Republika (h/t Mirror), Manchester United have agreed a €12m (£10.8m) deal to sign Serbian winger Filip Stevanovic from Partizan Belgrade.
The 17-year-old Stevanovic is a product of the Partizan youth academy, where he has been since 2011. He made his senior debut for the club in December 2018 and has gone on to make 42 appearances till date.
The 2019/20 campaign was quite a productive one for the teenage winger. Stevanovic managed an impressive return of nine goals and three assists from 35 matches in all competitions.
Stevanovic made substitute appearances for Partizan Belgrade against our team in the group stages of the UEFA Europa League this term. And now, as per the report, he is on the verge of signing for Manchester United, in a deal worth £10.8m.
Amidst this, the teenage winger himself has posted a cryptic message on social media, hinting at the switch. Stevanovic posted images of his appearance against United at Old Trafford on Instagram, captioning it with an eye emoji and a thinking emoji.
It has been claimed that Stevanovic would immediately return to Partizan Belgrade on loan for the upcoming season.

Stevanovic is not the first player to have joined us from Partizan Belgrade. Zoran Tosic also made the same move in 2009, but failed to make much of an impact in England.
Hopefully, Stevanovic will be able to taste a lot more success during his time with the Red Devils.
