Paul Pogba comes off worse in training ground clash with Victor Lindelof

According to a Tweet uploaded by utdreport, Paul Pogba showed off scars he received in a clash in training with Manchester United teammate Victor Lindelof.

It clearly appears that the duo have been giving it their all as the Red Devils prepare for the match against Southampton.

The clash has gained more prominence given Chelsea’s loss to Sheffield United. A win will see us regain control of our own destiny in the race for the top four.

The video shows Pogba sporting a cut above his lip while also showcasing a bloodshot left eye. He goes on to exclaim that Lindelof destroyed him, albeit in good spirits.

“Victor you destroyed me! Look at this bro, look at this. Oh my God!”

Despite the competitive streak, the Frenchman looks to have taken the clash sportingly. The video was exclaimed with the following.

“That’s what happens when you do 1v1 with the ice man Victor Lindelof.”

Lindelof has shown fleeting glances of why United signed him. Although he initially struggled, the Swede has upped his game this season.

There are still issues to be ironed out, but the development shown by him is promising. If the above incident is anything to go by, the nickname’ Iceman’ is well earnt.

Pogba has appeared a different player since his return from injury. Paired along with the brilliant Bruno Fernandes, he has shown himself to be everything we knew and expected him to be.

United are currently on a 17-game unbeaten run. Morale appears high in the squad, with players relishing their upturn in fortunes.
