Manchester United will not pay more than £50m for Jadon Sancho

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United will not pay more than £50m for Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Jadon Sancho.

With the Germans seeking at least £100m for their ace, the Red Devils offer is more an attempt at humour rather than ambition.

Sancho is one of the best young talents in world football. A player of his pedigree will be a certified game-changer who can win matches on his own.

United are the favourites to agree to a deal. However, officials at Old Trafford believe Dortmund’s valuation does not reflect the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic. They have to substantially lower their price if a deal is to be completed.

Manchester United set low valuation for Jadon Sancho

It is difficult to see the Germans abide by United’s demands and give up one of their best talents.

Earlier this week, Dortmund’s CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke reiterated that Sancho would only leave if their valuation was met. United’s offer is hardly capable of changing that. (h/t Sky Sports)
