Alexis Sanchez to stay at Inter Milan until the end of the season
According to BBC reporter Simon Stone, Inter Milan have had a breakthrough in their negotiations with Manchester United regarding Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean had just days left on his original loan deal at Inter. According to Stone, the clubs have successfully come to an agreement to extend his stay.
He went on to add that no agreement has been reached regarding the Chilean’s participation in the Europa League. As things stand, Sanchez will play no part in the Nerazzurri’s European campaign. This is understandable given we are also keen on winning the competition.
It makes no sense for us to strengthen a direct rival only to possibly regret it later.
Sanchez returning to United will not do the team any good considering he cannot represent us this campaign. Under that condition, it is better to keep him away at Inter as a promising group of players continues to thrive at United.
