Erling Haaland has no intention of leaving Borussia Dortmund amid Manchester United rumours
As reported by the MEN, Erling Haaland has ruled out an exit from Borussia Dortmund this summer, amid continued speculations linking him with a move to Manchester United.
Haaland had been heavily linked with a January switch to Manchester United. The Norwegian, however, snubbed a chance to move to Old Trafford in favour of a transfer to Dortmund from RB Salzburg. (h/t MEN)
The 19-year-old has been in brilliant form for the German giants, who finished second in the Bundesliga. In 2019/20, for both Salzburg and Dortmund combined, he has bagged a whopping 44 goals in 39 matches.
Despite being snubbed by the 19-year-old, Manchester United have continued to be credited with an interest in Haaland. However, he has put an end to all speculations, claiming that he has no intention of leaving Dortmund, having joined the club only six months ago. (h/t MEN)
“I live in the present. I have just arrived in Dortmund and I’m not thinking of leaving for now. Dortmund are one of the biggest clubs in the world. I have signed a long-term contract and I don’t think too much about the future.”
The 19-year-old also went on to add that he wanted to achieve something important at the club and help Dortmund win the Bundesliga title. (h/t MEN)
