Ander Herrera urged to return by Marcus Rashford
According to the Daily Star, former Manchester United favourite Ander Herrera has been urged to return to the club by Marcus Rashford.
The 30-year-old spent five years at Old Trafford before moving to PSG last summer on a free transfer. A fan favourite in Manchester, his move upset a number of fans.
An important player for United, he has been not enjoyed the same preference in Paris. He has played only 18 games all season, starting just 11 of them. (h/t Transfermarkt)
The French Ligue 1 has been suspended but with PSG alive in the UEFA Champions League, he could yet feature when the competition resumes.
United ace Rashford is keen to reunite with the Spaniard at Old Trafford. It came to light when Herrera took to Instagram and made a cheeky dig at the weather in Manchester.
He soon got a reply for Rashford, who implored him to return. Herrera replied with laughing emojis and four blowing kisses. He wished his former teammate all the best and said that he will be watching him.
A player who gave it his all in the red shirt, Herrera is remembered fondly even today. The fact that he also keeps an eye out for us shows the affinity he still shares for the club.
If all goes well we could even face him next season in the Champions League.
