Wolverhampton Wanderers star Raul Jimenez names his two dream clubs sans Manchester United
According to the Metro, Manchester United’s efforts to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers ace, Raul Jimenez, have been dealt a blow.
The Mexican striker has been a prolific attacker at the Molineux. He has scored 22 goals and 10 assists in 44 games this season.
The 28-year-old has been one of the stars of Wolves’ rise up the Premier League ranks. The club is currently alive and kicking in the Europa League while also in with a shot at making the top four in the Premier League.
Jimenez’s form has seen him linked to United and Chelsea. The striker, however, insists that he is happy playing in the Premier League in England. However, he would jump at the opportunity if either Real Madrid or Barcelona came calling.
“If you tell me that tomorrow an offer from Real Madrid or Barcelona comes, it is obvious that you do not let such an opportunity go.”
A prolific striker who is clinical in front of goal, Jimenez would have been a solid addition to our squad. With Marcus Rashford out injured, we were found wanting upfront until the signing of Odion Ighalo.
The Mexican is a better all-round player in comparison to Ighalo. An agile forward constantly on the move, his ability to link up with his teammates is an added bonus. It’s a shame that he won’t be strutting his stuff at Old Trafford.
