Man United’s leaked 2020/21 Adidas home kit features unusual ‘paintbrush stripes’
According to a report by The Sun, Manchester United’s 2020/21 home kit by Adidas has been leaked online. Footy Headlines shared images of the jersey which features unusual paintbrush stripes on the entire body.
Our ten-year £750million deal with Adidas has reached a halfway point and the latest kit’s striped design does make for a very unconventional choice.
The shirt will remain red throughout and the logo will also continue being the same (h/t The Sun). However, The Sun states that the abstract yellow and black design is here to stay.
The report further adds that Juventus, who also have Adidas as their official kit manufacturers, have a ball in their collection which features the same design. And a similar pattern will be seen in their new kit as well, reports The Sun.
Adidas’ iconic three-stripes will run down the shoulders of the shirt while a ribbed crew-neck collar completes the look (h/t The Sun).
Manchester United usually don’t go too crazy with their shirt designs – the only exception being a checked design that resembled a table cloth back in the 2012/13 season.
We would only get to know what the shirt really looks like when it is officially released. And until that happens, it would be best to avoid speculation.
