Man United captain Harry Maguire gets team closer by planning night out
According to a report by Bleacher Report (h/t The Sun), Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has done exceedingly well when it comes to keeping the team together.
In addition to on-field work, Maguire also organized one particular night-out that appears to have brought the squad closer than ever, reports Bleacher Report (h/t The Sun).
The former Leicester City ace was appointed as the captain earlier in January by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer despite him being at the club for only five months at the time.
However, the decision appears to have paid off richly, with the club on an 11-game unbeaten streak prior to the season getting suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
In addition to Maguire’s team-bonding activities, January signing Bruno Fernandes’ influence cannot be undermined. The Portuguese ace has transformed our performances on the field and his passion and hunger for victory have pushed the team to do a lot better – and the results are apparent.
Both factors have worked largely in our favour and we are just three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea in the league standings.
