Man United star Paul Pogba makes Liverpool title claim
According to a report by Daily Express, Paul Pogba has made his feelings known about the prospect of Liverpool winning the title.
Over the years, we’ve had the upper hand on our arch-rivals but lately, things have hardly gone our way.
While we struggle for a top-four finish, Liverpool are sitting 22 points ahead of second-placed Manchester City and remain undaunted challengers for the league title.
That is a sight no United fan would want to see and Pogba appears to echo the same sentiments. Speaking to ESPN (h/t Daily Express), the Frenchman said:
“They have not lost a single game yet this season in the league. They already have one hand on the Premier League trophy.

“As a Manchester United player and with the rivalry between us, we don’t want them to win the title,” he said.
The report further added that Pogba is likely to leave the club at the end of the season and it remains to be seen if how we fare without him.
Truly, it is a bit annoying to see Liverpool performing well but credit where it’s due, the Reds have been brilliant this season and they deserve to win the title.
Nevertheless, we still have more Premier League trophies than them and let’s hope we have our glory days back again sooner than later.
