Ashley Young is close to signing a new deal with Manchester United, according to the Mirror. The 33-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, however, the report adds that United have offered him a one-year deal.
United have been negotiating with the winger/full-back for weeks, and the report claims that they have finally agreed on an improved offer. Young has done a pretty decent job in the defence, and the report adds that the Englishman is on £130,000-a-week.
The 33-year-old has captained United this season, and his extension with the Red Devils is a bit of a blow to Inter Milan.
The report adds that the Italian giants had offered Young a two-year deal, and were hoping that Young would wait until the summer. This is great news for United as we can use Young’s experience under new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian saw his winning streak come to an end against Burnley after the game ended 2-2. United dug deep to score two goals in the final few minutes and hopefully, we collect three points against Leicester City.

The Foxes come off an impressive draw against Liverpool at Anfield in their previous game, and it will not be easy to beat them at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
