Manchester United have had a huge €60m bid for Juventus winger Douglas Costa turned down, according to Calciomercato (h/t Mirror).
The Brazilian has found regular starts hard to come by at the Turin club and has made nine substitute appearances in the Serie A this season.
The 28-year-old only joined the Serie A giants on a permanent basis recently but has been outshined by the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala.
The report claims that Ed Woodward is in charge of transfers now after the sacking of Jose Mourinho. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the interim manager until the end of the season and it will be interesting to see who we bring in during the winter window.
United struggled to perform under Mourinho but things changed in an instance with the Red Devils hammering Cardiff City 5-1 with Solskjaer in charge.
The Red Devils are eight points from a top four spot and that has to be the target this season. We are through to the knockout rounds of the Champions League but face a daunting task against Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 16.

Costa would be a great addition to the side and he is a pacey winger with incredible quality on the ball. Solskjaer has a big job on his hands if we are to make it to the Champions League next season and hopefully, he gets the right players under him for the second half of the season.
