The list for the Ballon d’Or nominees is out and Manchester United star Paul Pogba is in the running for the award.
The Frenchman had a great summer picking up the World Cup but that form has not carried on for United.
We have struggled to get wins and needed a last-minute goal from Alexis Sanchez to beat Newcastle in our previous game.

Jose Mourinho has been in the wars with Pogba and even removed the player from the vice-captain’s position recently.
Pogba, for his part, hasn’t lit up Old Trafford like he is capable of doing and it will be interesting to see how he performs for France during the international break.
The Ballon d’Or is one of the most prestigious awards in football but some fans weren’t happy with the Frenchman’s nomination, given his poor showings for United.
