Jose Mourinho stripped Paul Pogba of Manchester United’s vice-captaincy and the relationship between the pair seems to have gotten worse after footage was shared by Sky Sports.
The United manager didn’t explain the reason behind changing the Frenchman’s role at the club. The team recently lost to Derby County in the Carabao Cup third round tie. (h/t Evening Standard)
The World Cup winner didn’t feature in that game but United were deservedly defeated by the Championship side, despite taking the lead.
Sky Sports posted a video of the players training and Pogba can be seen changing his demeanour as soon as he got close to Mourinho.
JUST IN! 😳

It is tough to make out what the manager tells him but it certainly didn’t make the 25-year-old happy. The former Juventus midfielder responded and looked bemused before the clip ends.
Pogba hasn’t played great football for United this season and was upset we didn’t attack enough during the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.
The result saw us slide eight points behind leaders Liverpool after six games this season. Mourinho and Pogba have had their issues in the past with the manager criticizing the player during the World Cup (h/t Metro) too.
Airing dirty laundry is the worst thing we could do and this will heap more pressure on the players and the manager ahead of our clash against West Ham United this weekend.
