Manchester United endured a frustrating draw at home against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday. The result leaves us eight points behind leaders Liverpool and Paul Pogba wasn’t happy with how we played.

The Frenchman set up Fred for the opening goal of the game but we failed to capitalize on our lead. Joao Moutinho then levelled for the Wolves but the World Cup winner believed we needed to play more attacking football.

The Wolves had better chances to win the game and Pogba was quoted by the Metro saying:

“We are at home and we should play much better against Wolves.

“When we are at home we should attack, attack, attack. That’s Old Trafford. We are here to attack.”

The Frenchman added that it is easier for the team to play attacking football and that we should have made life difficult for the away side.

The midfielder was even questioned as to why the team couldn’t attack the away side more and he replied:

“I’m not the manager, I cannot say that, but obviously we should show more option of playing, but I cannot say that because I’m a player.

“That’s my way of thinking – we should move better, we should move more.”

It wasn’t just Pogba who failed to do well as Alexis Sanchez had another poor game for us. United do not have a lot of time to dwell on this result as we face Derby County in the Carabao Cup midweek.

We have to play better than we did against Wolves and hopefully, we will see our players firing on all cylinders from the next game.
