Romelu Lukaku is a fantastic striker who is slowly getting back to his best after returning late from the World Cup. The Belgian has scored four goals in five league appearances but his defensive work during set-pieces is an understated quality as well.
The striker has scored in his last four games for club and country but one moment perfectly encapsulated what he means to Manchester United under Jose Mourinho.
The 25-year-old ran half the length of the pitch against Watford and put in a superb tackle to cut out an attack. This came in the second half as the Red Devils were fighting hard to keep the lead.
Okay, so LOTS of you picked up on this from @RomeluLukaku9 during the game against Watford…

David De Gea produced a brilliant save at the death to confirm three points at Vicarage Road. But some United fans loved the commitment from Big Rom and simultaneously questioned some of the players’ performances in recent games.

If Lukaku where a defender, he would have been an IMMOVABLE DEFENCE MINISTER

I know its hard to have that sort of passion in every game but i wish he would have it in a few more than he actually does,
Also i absolutely love the pink kit, it just sucks being poor, would have bought it already if i could— scott plumridge (@Scottplumridge) September 19, 2018
