Manchester United have not signed an attacker this summer so far but could change as the Independent reveals that the club are interested in signing Robert Lewandowski and Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich are willing to let go of the pair and know that United need players in the respective positions and also have the money to spend on the players.
Lewandowski had a really poor showing at the World Cup but the report claims that Jose Mourinho has always admired the Polish striker. However, the 29-year-old has attracted interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Chelsea too.
Thiago was almost a United player but he was persuaded by Pep Guardiola to join the Bundesliga side. However, he is also open to a move back to Barcelona, the club that sold him to Bayern.
The players would not come on the cheap as they have been stalwarts for Bayern Munich in recent years and Lewandowski is still one of the best strikers in the world.
Thiago can change the look of our midfield and with Fred and Paul Pogba in the side, we might have one of the best midfields in European football.
United still have a few weeks before the end of the transfer window but we will have to work quickly to sign our transfer targets.

Our rivals are already signing big players for big bucks and if we are to win the Premier League title, we will have to bring in a few more players before the start of the season.
