The draw for the FA Cup saw Manchester United get paired up with Tottenham and truth be told, I would have preferred Southampton. Spurs have been in great form of late and playing at Wembley would be a major bonus for them too.
The London side have made Wembley their home as they wait to move into their new stadium. However, the advantage for them here is that they would be more used to the conditions and not that they would enjoy home support.
We did win the trophy a couple of seasons ago under Louis van Gaal and this is the only trophy we can win this season after a rather dismal showing in the UEFA Champions League.
United have to ensure that they can deal with Tottenham and hopefully, we can finish the season on a high with a trophy and a top four place to boot.
Twitter was lit up with a number of reactions from the United fans and here are some of the best.
I’m not sure about you, but I would rather look BAD and WIN, than look GOOD and LOSE 🏆🏆🏆

Must be nice for Tottenham to be the only team in the FA Cup semi finals with a home advantage. How the FA has allowed them to use Wembley this season is beyond me.

United have a point about playing Spurs at Wembley in the semi final the FA should move it to a nuetral venue easily accesable for both sets of fans..The Emirates is surely favourite….

As spurs play home games at wembley shouldn’t this game be played at a neutral ground @millenniumstad #princapality
