Reports have just burst on to the scenes that Manchester United have agreed a £35million fee for another one of Chelsea’s prime target Tiemoué Bakayoko. An exclusive story from George Scott of the Daily Star has revealed that United’s attempt to hijack Bakayoko’s deal from Chelsea’s portal has been accepted by AS Monaco and the Frenchman could be on his way to Manchester soon.
Should the deal go through, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has every right to burst out on Chelsea’s transfer policies as this will be the second time in same transfer market that they will lose their target to Manchester United.
Although nothing has been made official yet, this is a well-written fact that Bakayoko is well and truly on his way to England, be it Chelsea or Manchester United. The 22-year-old Frenchman recently posted a photo of himself standing near a jet plane, and captioned it, “Let’s Go.” Bonne semaine à Tous” (Have a good week). This might have excited both Chelsea and Manchester United fans as it is still unknown where Bakayoko is heading.
Having said that, Manchester United fans seem quite excited about the news and here is how they are reacting to it:

Stories linking Bakayoko to Manchester United seem a little too convenient after the events of this week. I can’t envisage it in truth…

If United get Bakayoko, Chelsea twitter will all deactivate and be handed the biggest L of all time.

Chelsea are lucky Bakayoko doesn’t have any L’s in his name. They took all of them with Lukaku. Surely not again? pic.twitter.com/ezGyxXgVrE
