Eric Bailly is about to become the first signing of Manchester United under Jose Mourinho as report from Manchester Evening News suggests that the player has already completed a medical with the club.
The player has been linked with the Red Devils for two weeks and going by the latest news the development has been pretty quick. A deal between the two clubs is expected to be in the range of £25 million and the expectation is that the official announcement could be as early as the end of this week.
The center defender, 22, had also been linked with other clubs such as Manchester City, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, but Manchester United seems to have won the race for the place. The player is expected to be followed by other major signings as Manchester United looks to build a team competing domestically and in Europe next season. Fans will hope that Bailly is the first to many more to come to Old Trafford.
