Domenico Berardi of Sassuolo. Yes, you may not have heard his name but as per the reports from Transfermarketweb, Manchester United scouts have. Not only that but the United scouts have been following the player for some time and now the club is ready to bid for the player.
According to the report, the Red Devils are prepared to make a £23.3 million to seal the player’s signature. The Italian international is co-owned by Juventus and the Old Lady is ready to recall him next season. The offer amount is not big enough to tempt Juventus to sell the player but it is expected that Manchester United could be willing offer more if the initial bid fails.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona are among other clubs who also have been watching the player. Domestically Manchester United may have to compete with Liverpool as well for the Berardi. United had been short of goal scorers till recently and wanting to strengthen in the summer is a no-brainer.
