Selling Januzaj Would Be A Disaster – Opinion

David Moyes must feel like he is walking on egg shells with the Manchester United fans right now, and if the reports of Adnan Januzaj leaving in a £40 million deal to French giants Paris Saint-Germain, cited by the Daily Mail, transpire, then I firmly believe that will be the last straw for some.

The majority of the fans have stood behind Moyes and continued chanting his name from the stands despite the fact he is having a tough time at the helm of our mighty club. It was always going to happen – he stepped into the biggest shoes there has ever been to fill, arguably, and we expected some teething problems.

I don’t think anyone expected the cagey football we have been displaying though, nor the shoddy results we have seen against the lesser clubs in the league.

Patience is thinning and I can tell you that as I am a season ticket holder at the Theatre of Dreams. There are plenty of people who sit around me who are thoroughly fed up of how things are going and the majority of the fans see one man being the shining light of the season – Adnan Januzaj.

Should the club let him leave – no matter what the price is – then I believe that would be the last straw for many frustrated fans, and considering how highly rated he is I think it would be a disaster for everyone involved.

Apart from PSG, of course.

  1. I have lost complete faith in everything about united except the fans……….our assembled team against stoke cost more than the assembled teams of man city and chelsea when they squared off….and yet the glazers get the blame…….fergie and moyes have combined to bring this club to its knees with some shocking buys…barmy team selections and mind numbing football….the rot started in 2009 when fergie replaced ronaldo with valencia….seriously a ballon dor winner with a limited functional wigan winger…..and then changed our style to a negative functional one…..since then players not fit to wear the shirt valencia anderson nani young smalling welbeck cleverly have continued to play despite not being any good…and what does moyes do??? when bragging about unlimited funds??? he buys fellaini……then after continuing the mind numbing football and taking a functional but winning team into 7th place he buys mata and everyone gets excited….obviously unaware of the fact that moyes who gets advice (orders) from fergie will only play 1 flair player in the team…so as i said at the time the one who will make place for mata wont be welbeck or cleverly or any of the other functional grafters fergie and moyes love but instead in will be janajaz…dark times ahead my friends……and until the last vestages of fergies last few years and moyes horrible inability to manage are banished from the club then nothing will improve….at least we didnt get jose…can u imagine??? 3 years of trophies before he left and a better option than moyes then took over the club with neither too scared to make a choice that would upset fergie??? what a lucky escape we had in 7th place with dithering yes man moyes.
