David Moyes must feel like he is walking on egg shells with the Manchester United fans right now, and if the reports of Adnan Januzaj leaving in a £40 million deal to French giants Paris Saint-Germain, cited by the Daily Mail, transpire, then I firmly believe that will be the last straw for some.
The majority of the fans have stood behind Moyes and continued chanting his name from the stands despite the fact he is having a tough time at the helm of our mighty club. It was always going to happen – he stepped into the biggest shoes there has ever been to fill, arguably, and we expected some teething problems.
I don’t think anyone expected the cagey football we have been displaying though, nor the shoddy results we have seen against the lesser clubs in the league.
Patience is thinning and I can tell you that as I am a season ticket holder at the Theatre of Dreams. There are plenty of people who sit around me who are thoroughly fed up of how things are going and the majority of the fans see one man being the shining light of the season – Adnan Januzaj.
Should the club let him leave – no matter what the price is – then I believe that would be the last straw for many frustrated fans, and considering how highly rated he is I think it would be a disaster for everyone involved.
Apart from PSG, of course.
