Turkish club Fenherbache, which is currently under the manager-ship of Jose Mourinho reportedly want to sign United winger Antony

While the summer transfer window has closed in England and many other countries, Turkey remains one of the few open pathways for footballers, with the Turkish Super Lig transfer window to only close on September 13.

Taking advantage of this extended period, Galatasaray have managed to sign the stellar striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli. Meanwhile, another Turkish giant is close to securing a notable deal to bring in one of Manchester United’s forwards on a season-long loan.

Fenerbahce closing in to sign Antony

As per a report by Turkish outlet Fotomac, Fenerbahce, under the management of Jose Mourinho, are pushing hard to sign Brazilian winger Antony from Manchester United on a season-long loan.

It’s worth noting that Antony was initially a priority for Erik ten Hag’s new project at United, which was intended to usher in a renaissance for the club but has instead resulted in a disappointing campaign for the Red Devils.

Antony’s potential move away from Old Trafford could have a significant impact on his current team, as he is already one of the lesser-used players in the squad. Evidence of this is seen in the fact that the 24-year-old has only played sparingly in the first three fixtures of the ongoing Premier League season.

Additionally, it has been reported that Galatasaray have sent an inquiry to Old Trafford regarding the possibility of signing defensive midfielder Casemiro on loan for the rest of the season.

Manchester United are currently experiencing a difficult period, languishing in a disappointing 14th position in the Premier League table, which includes a heavy 3-0 loss to their bitter rivals, Liverpool. It remains to be seen how the club will respond to the current situation, as they are under intense scrutiny.
