However, the proposed move fell through, as neither the club nor the player gave the green light. Despite various links and rumours, it has also been confirmed that Ajax made no formal bid to sign Danish international Christian Eriksen from Manchester United.
Since joining Old Trafford on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee, Eriksen has made 73 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists.
Eriksen’s situation adds to the club’s growing concerns. With recent performances highlighting their struggles in
