Fabrizio Romano rejected the rumours of any bid from Paris Saint-Germain for Manchester United star Jadon Sancho amid uncertain future
Football journalist Fabrizio Romano denied the reports of any bid from Paris Saint-Germain for Manchester United star Jadon Sancho. The 24-year-old’s future remains uncertain as he could leave United during the latter stage of the summer transfer window in August.
The decision is solely down to the club and United manager Erik ten Hag as they continuously assess the squad. Sancho and Ten Hag had a public spat last season that resulted in the player’s exodus from the senior team.
The England international eventually signed a loan deal with his former club Borussia Dortmund in January which halted the controversy. Sancho helped Borussia reach the Champions League finals where they lost to Real Madrid but earned praise for their campaign.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag guided the Red Devils to the FA Cup victory against Manchester City after a horrible overall season. The Dutchman cannot afford to repeat the same controversies that plagued the club last season and contributed to their struggles.
While the two have reconciled behind the scenes and the detail is unknown, Ten Hag used Sancho during the pre-season. The 24-year-old played in a new role as a false nine as the manager hinted that he will use Sancho.
However, the transfer rumours have continued to circulate and Sancho could leave to play regularly in his preferred tactical role. The England international is still just entering the peak years of his career and has a lot to prove.
Manchester United have still not received any bid from PSG for Jadon Sancho, despite interest.

Sancho joined United after displaying incredible potential while contributing massively for Dortmund with regular goals and assists. The Red Devils signed him for a high value but he failed to display a similar level of contribution or consistency.

Given the way Ten Hag has used Sancho, he could have a squad role next season if he stays put. Ten Hag has signed Joshua Zirkzee to compete with Rasmus Hojlund which puts Sancho as the third-choice false nine
Meanwhile, the wide attacking area has Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho as the first-choice options out wide. They also have Antony, Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri in their ranks who would compete with Sancho.
