Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho expresses his delight after moving on from the public spat with manager Erik ten hag

Jadon Sancho revealed his happiness at Manchester United after moving on from the public spat with manager Erik ten Hag. Sancho and Ten Hag had a public dispute earlier last season which led to his loan move to Borussia Dortmund.

While Ten Hag guided United back from a miserable season to the FA Cup win, Sancho delivered for the Germans. The 24-year-old helped Borussia reach the Champions League final in a fantastic campaign but eventually lost to Real Madrid.

Sancho and Ten Hag have kept their chat that led to reconciliation private but fans are happy with the outcome. However, the Englishman needs to prove his worth at Old Trafford after below-par contributions since United first signed him.

Sancho joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2021 after making his name with Dortmund by consistently producing performances. The 24-year-old enjoyed a high output of goals and assists during his first stint with the German side, displaying dazzling skills.

However, he failed to produce similar goals and assists for the Red Devils and struggled with inconsistencies during his tenure. Sancho’s battle with physical and mental health played a key role in his struggle to regain form and deliver consistently.

When asked whether he is glad to be back, Sancho responded to MUTV with honesty, enjoying his pre-season tour. He said:

“Definitely, 100 per cent. 100 per cent, yes. It’s been nice, enjoying the weather, back with the lads, it’s been good. I love the facilities in America. Obviously when I have time off, I usually come to America. This is actually one of the places I do train before pre-season so it’s nice to be back. I wouldn’t say it’s home but yes, it’s a nice facility.”

Sancho played the main forward against Liverpool in United’s 3-0 loss in the friendly game due to injury issues. The Red Devils lack a natural striker in their pre-season camp with Rasmus Hojlund injured and Joshua Zirkzee unavailable.

However, it is good news for the club that Sancho is back in contention as they cannot recover the price they paid for him if they wanted to sell the forward. Furthermore, under the right guidance Sancho can rediscover his old form and fulfil his true potential given that he is still very young.
