Manchester United are negotiating a bargain deal for Juventus star Federico Chiesa amid competition from other top Premier League clubs
Juventus offers Federico Chiesa at a bargain price, with Manchester United among the top clubs negotiating a deal. The Italian international enters the last season of his current contract with Juventus and is now up for sale.
Despite his excellent history and reputation in Italy, new Juventus boss Thiago Motta wants to sell the forward this summer. Motta intends to mark his identity in the team by selling one of the top assets of the Italian giants.
The 26-year-old is capable of playing at any position in the attack and delivering consistent creativity and goalscoring threat. Chiesa gained an immense reputation after his incredible performances for Italy during the Euro 2020 competition, helping Italy win the trophy.
According to Transfermarkt, Chiesa is worth 35 million euros (£29.5 million) despite playing in the last year of his contract. However, Eurosport reported Juventus will sell him for a bargain price of £20 million during the summer transfer window.
According to La Stampa (via Tutto Juve), Chiesa’s agent Fali Ramadami is negotiating a deal with four clubs including United. The other clubs include Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal as the competition for the top European star is high.
The Red Devils’ attacking department struggled with form throughout the last season which cost them the top-four finish. Marcus Rashford and Antony struggled in the wings with only Alejandro Garnacho shining consistently for the club.
