Manchester United to explore the market if Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaves

Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka could very possibly be in his last days as a Red Devil with AC Milan and West Ham interested in landing him this summer.

The interested parties are hoping to strike a cut-price deal for the English full-back as he has entered the final year of his contract at Old Trafford and is widely expected to leave for greener pastures.

Wan-Bissaka has been usurped as the primary right-back at Man United by Diogo Dalot and there does not seem to be any chance for the ex-Crystal Palace defender to prolong his stay at the club.

Milan and West Ham will both be optimistic about reaching an agreement with United sooner rather than later as the Premier League giants are under pressure to sell Wan-Bissaka to avoid losing him for free in 2025.

Wan-Bissaka will reportedly be sold for just £15 million, which means the Red Devils will be staring at a significant loss on the £50 million they invested in his signing from Palace five years ago.

If indeed he leaves the club in the near future, Manchester United will dip into the transfer market to bring in a versatile full-back, Give Me Sport has reported.

The Red Devils are already on the lookout for a left-back due to apprehensions regarding Luke Shaw’s and Tyrell Malacia’s fitness but will seek a better-rounded option if Wan-Bissaka is sold.

There are still no versatile full-backs that have been linked with United but the club will hope Wan-Bissaka’s future is clarified soon so they can make a concrete decision on their transfer activities for the remainder of the transfer window.
