Ex-Manchester United stars take their picks for Copa America winner and tournament top-scorer
Manchester United asked a few of their South American stars to make their picks for the winners of Copa America and the tournament top-scorer. Players like Marcos Rojo, Anderson, Radamel Falcao and Fabio participated.
The Red Devils have been home to some of the biggest European talents in the past few years. Even now they have one of the best defenders in the world, Lisandro Martinez playing in the Copa America. The team also has Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes who are taking part in the EUROs.
Martinez and Argentina have gotten off to a great start and look set to retain their title. However, Rafael believes Brazil will win the Copa America with Rodrygo as the top scorer. Anderson also picked Brazil as his winner.
Marcos Rojo wants Argentina to retain the Copa America title and he wishes to see Lionel Messi become the top scorer since the Argentine was his teammate for many years. Falcao wants to see Colombia lift the title, but he wants Lionel Messi to be the top scorer.
Lastly, Antonio is betting on the underdogs, he believes that the Copa America final will be played between both Colombia and Ecuador with Ecuador winning it all. That would surely leave a lot of people surprised.
From the looks of it, the Copa America title is Argentina’s to lose. However, international football can be quite shocking at times and that is the beauty of it. Hopefully, the tournament will have lots of big moments for the fans to enjoy.
