Red Devils’ star believes his team can win the EUROs this year
Manchester United star, Bruno Fernandes believes he and his Portugal side have a good chance of winning the EUROs for a second time this year. The United midfielder has had an amazing season for the club recording 15 goals and 13 assists.
Bruno did all of this over a span of 48 appearances. With him on the pitch, Manchester United looked and played like a different team. Thanks to that, the team was able to make something out of an otherwise terrible season by winning the FA Cup.
While speaking about how he feels about the team’s chances, Fernandes mentioned that he feels great and believes the team has everything they need to give a great performance. Let’s have a look at what else he had to say. (h/t Manchester United)
“I’m really confident. I’m pretty sure we have everything to do a great EUROs.”
Bruno went on to say that he feels Portugal has something to say in this year’s EUROs. If they end up winning it, this would mark their second time with the first being all the way back in 2016. Their winning would establish the team as an international giant again.
If Fernandes is able to carry his good form from the season into the tournament, Portugal will be firing on all cylinders. Moreover, with quality like Cristiano Ronaldo and promising players like Joao Felix upfront, Portugal could end up surprising everyone.
This might end up being Ronaldo’s last international tournament, it’ll be interesting to see what the legend has in store for what might end up being his last dance.
